Description:
Shadow Selfie, a Selfie Portrait, by Flux Research, is my favorite from a number of self-portraits exploring light and shadow. The larger body of work is from a roughly two year period, 2019 to 2020, in which I explored formal issues in photography in an informal self-study.

I call my self-portrait work Selfie Portraits because these photographs tie together my interest in the history of self-portraiture, portrait photography and selfies as creative snapshots.
